I was raised in a small beach town just south of Boston, MA. An offhand decision to join my high school's filmmaking workshop fueled my interest in production and convinced me to turn my once hobby into a career. After leading the workshop for four years, I attended the Bellisario College of Communications at Penn State University and received a Bachelors Degree in Film Production, along with two minors in Entrepreneurship and Sociology.
Starting at the age of 13, I worked as an educator at a small, local, organic farm. For 9 years, I taught ages 3-18 the importance of agriculture in a hands-on setting. While not in my field, this work experience taught me many valuable skills in the form of teaching, managing, and fostering creativity. In 2018 I had the honor of interning at This Old House as an in office and on set production assistant. Here I learned many essential standards of the industry. During college I began exploring freelance photography and was lucky to expand my passion for visual arts into other fields. Post-grad I found my way back to Boston and have been finding working in film, photography, and live events.
